Primarily, you can use mr. boool filters as a replacement for conventional two-dimensional cartridge filters. One mr. boool net replaces a 4-inch cartridge. For larger cartridges you can simply combine several mr. boool nets. The flexible shape adapts perfectly.
mr. boool can also be used in skimmers. Due to the spherical shape, mr. boool fits to all skimmer sizes up to 25cm diameter.
You can use mr. boool also in sand filter systems as a replacement for sand or glass filter media. mr. boool is much easier to handle and more environmentally friendly than other filter media.
Yes, you can easily replace the cartridges from conventional filter systems such as Bestway pools with mr. boool. This saves plastic and protects the environment, because mr. boool consists of 98% recycled polymer fibre. Due to the fact, that mr. boool can be used universally, you do not have to go searching for the correct filter cartridge.
mr. boool can be used for any type of pool or pool filter. Whether it`s a small paddling pool for children, a large swimming pool, a mobile above ground pool, a frame pool, a bestway pool, a swimming pool, a private pool or an inflatable pool – mr. boool filter ensures 1a filtered, clear water and 100% swimming fun.
For optimal filter results, we recommend changing mr. boool for hygienical reasons approx. every 4 weeks. You can also see the filtered particles or the contamination directly in the filter balls. The practical mr. boool Season package is usually enough for one pool season.
Once you have used the mr. boool pool filter balls for several weeks, it is time to dispose of them. As it is 98% recycled polymer fibre, mr. boool can easily be disposed of with household waste.

In any case, please also observe the manufacturers instructions for your filter system. Before each filter change, please disconnect the power supply.
Our innovative products are specifically surface-treated and surface-activated. Conventional textile filter media (e.g. filter fleeces) only filter two-dimensionally. mr. boool offers a 3D filtration option and can absorb significantly more dirt. Due to the special combination of fibres, mr. boool can filter even the smallest dirt particles down to 8 micrometres – a conventional cartridge can only filter down to 30 microns on average. In addition, mr. boool specifically exploits physical properties to bind the dirt particles firmly and securely. The deliberately chosen spherical shape creates the largest possible filter surface and enables universal applicability.
You do not need any tools to use mr. boool pool filters. Simply place the net with the mr. boool filter balls in your filter instead of the plastic cartridge filter. mr. boool works also free-floating if your pool or paddling pool does not have an integrated filter.
You do not need to pay attention to direct (skin) contact with unused mr. boool filter balls. The filter material is made from recycled plastic bottles and is therefore harmless to health – even if children touch the mr. boool filter balls.

You can also use the mr. boool filter balls if you use chlorine in your pool. The material is made of 98% of recycled polymer fibres and is chlorine resistant.
A greenish colour occurs when the water in the pool „tilts“. This can happen e.g., when the pH-value is too high or there is a lot of sunlight. The discolouration has nothing to do with the filter material, but is due to the water chemistry. On days with a lot of sunlight, we recommend keeping the filter pump running for as long as possible over the day and to reduce the pH-value to approx. 6.8-7. This not only prevents the water from turning green, but also protects the skin with the ideal pH-value.
The mr. boool filter material has a high separation efficiency, i.e., a very fine filtration. Therefore, you can reduce the use of water chemistry with mr. boool in contrast to other filter materials.
If the damage only minor, the net can be repaired simply and easily, e.g. with a cable tie. To ensure an optimal cleaning result, we recommend to replace the mr. boool filter promptly.
You can use our pool filter up to a water temperature of maximal 55°C. The pH-value of the pool water should be in a normal range of 6.2-8.0.
If you use flocculants according to DIN specifications, this will be no problem for the mr. boool pool filters. If too much flocculant is used, the filter material can be damaged. Also, the filtration performance will be limited.
